The bottom of the plastic sheet needs to tuck inside the door frame. You
want to route any water coming past the window seals to the drain holes in the
bottom of the door. If you glue the bottom to the outside of the door, it can
damage your door panel.
The plastic is not attached at the bottom. It
just tucks into the door.

I used spray trim adhesive last
time around, just sprayed it carefully
around the door frames where the
plastic would attach.
