It has been said that convertibles as a breed are not as rigid as closed  
cars.  
 
That is so that they can better conform to the road. You want it to sing,  
too?
 
Also it is said someone complained the brakes on a Ferrari were not up to  
snuff and EF replied: cars are made for going, not stopping.
 
World news: a Picasso painting just sold for  the highest amount ever  for 
an artwork.  The US stock market fell 2% on news of troubles in the EU,  
such as broke Greece.  And the opera is on strike throughout Italy against  
proposed reductions in government funding.
