Did you crack the connectors at the injectors to bleed out the air? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Monday, August 30, 2010 9:46 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [alfa] Spica fail mode
Gentle Alfisti, I thought my knowledge of the Spica pump satisfactory to volunteer to help a guy with his 74 spider. The car exhibits no fuel delivery. We installed a new rear Bosch pump, have fuel flow, new filters and a rebuilt T.A.. The car starts and runs on ether (starting fluid). The Spica pump turns and its linkages have been set-up to nominal stops. I have set-up several Spica systems before and have had success. Certainly I have never seen a pump unable to get a car to want to fire. This is highly unusual. Any ideas that the Digest may have will be very much appreciated. modelle in somers point 115.01, 115.02 -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected] ____________________________ This message contains confidential information intended only for the use of the addressee(s) named above and may contain information that is legally privileged.
