Gregg,
Check the fuel pressure at the SPICA inlet. Should be around 19psi. If
not, let me know.

Subject: [alfa] Spica fail mode

Gentle Alfisti,
I thought my knowledge of the Spica pump satisfactory to volunteer to help a
guy with his 74 spider. The car exhibits no fuel delivery. We installed a new
rear Bosch pump, have fuel flow, new filters and a rebuilt T.A.. The car
starts and runs on ether (starting fluid). The Spica pump turns and its
linkages have been set-up to nominal stops. I have set-up several Spica
systems before and have had success. Certainly I have never seen a pump
unable to get a car to want to fire. This is highly unusual. Any ideas that
the Digest may have will be very much appreciated.
