Bruce - there are spacers out there (eBay has a few) or you can have one
machined to whatever thickness you want fairly easily/cheaply.

Subject: [alfa] Momo wheel on GTV

I recently put a Momo steering wheel on my '73 GTV (track car) replacing
the stock unit. But I'm finding that there is not much in the way of
clearance between the wheel and the turn signal stalk. I have to pay close
attention to where my hands are placed otherwise I'm flipping the turn
signals on left or right, depending on which way I'm turning the wheel.
And if I'm wearing any type of gloves, I'll be hitting it all the time.

Are there adapters to space the steering wheel out a bit further to prevent
this ?
