Knowing that today is Sunday, and contemplating your electrical dilemma, realize the virtue that driving is truly an art, and not a technological exercise! You can get bogged down with these things, but all in all, in 2012, the GTV6 is a well balanced, competent driving machine. Think about the turn signal function as only a suggestion to turn left or right. Use the car to your advantage and take the time to enjoy the landscape. In all my years of driving, I have only seen a handful of GTV6's actually driving around. If the car doesn't work perfectly, the only one who will know, is you! Two things I found that go bad are the contacts themselves inside the column switch and the rear lamp boards. The front lamps never seem to be the culprit, unless for a burned or wrong bulb in the socket. While operating the turn signal switch lever, push it forward (towards the front of the vehicle) and back, towards the rear slightly and see if this results in signal operation. If so, the contacts need to be cleaned with some 400 grit sand paper and some vaseline. If this doesn't do it, check the rear lamp boards. The contact points where they attached the actual lamp housings (sockets) get oxidized and loose their conductivity. Remove the boards completely and either resolder by hand these contact points (rivets) or repunch them with a nail punch or philips screw driver. Recheck all the the bulb housing connections for oxidation and pinch and clean as necessary. Using good common 'electrical' sense, and all this, like a good pastasciutta, makes things work.
