Stevan, Here's my advice. Your GTV-6 is closing in on 30 years old. If you have not repaired or replaced the tail light circuit boards, that is probably the problem. I messed with mine for years. Cleaned, re-soldered, bought better used ones, but nothing fixed the problem. These were only temporary solutions. Then, I saw a listing on ebay for a guy who would repair the boards - not cheap, but considering the lack of economy of scale, not a bad price. I thought about it for more than a year. Then finally in desperation I contacted him and found out the he remanufactured the boards, not just repaired them. In his process, he reprints the circuit on both sides, unlike the original which has the circuit only on one side. Also, the connector area of each circuit segment is slightly wider for a better contact with the plug. I decided to give it a try. After all it is only money. I have been completely satisfied with the results. You can check his web site at _http://motozane.com/GTV6TaillightPCB.html_ (http://motozane.com/GTV6TaillightPCB.html) . I have not financial interest in this. I can send photos of mine if you are interested. The turn signals on my low mileage 1983 GTV 6 sometimes work and sometimes don't, they're intermittent. I know the first thing to check are the grounds, presumably starting near the lights themselves. I would appreciate some guidance as to where to look for those, as well as is there anything else, near the steering column, etc., that I should check? Any other items that might be involved after this step? Thank you!
