I agree with Kevin's suggestion. I chased a "hunting" problem on my GTV6 for a long time. Mine didn't do it always, but often enough to be very annoying. It was careful adjustment of the TPS that finally solved the problem. Greg Gordon's L-Jetronic tuning article is excellent. As others have said check for vacuum leaks, this can also happen if the throttle position sensor (TPS) is not adjusted correctly, you want to have it set so it clicks *just* as the throttle starts turning the flap in the throttle body.
