Brother and Sister Raccoons:
Have any of you tried shopping for a new car lately? It's TERRIBLE out there, folks! I think every
car company, including those we Alfisti have come to respect over the years, have decided that all
that matters is the gadgetry they can burden the vehicle with. The car itself has become a distant
afterthought.
The manual gearbox seems to have become contraband. If you want one you either have to sleep with
the right person or make a shady deal in a dark alley. You don't want heated seats, a heated
steering wheel, puddle lights (!) or a backup camera? Well, you don't have to use them. But you do
have to pay for them. After all, they only add a few thousand dollars to the cost of the car...
Ugh.
