After having two small (when I modified the '74 Spider to race it, I moved the
battery to the right rear shelf in the trunk--perhaps silly, but I thought the
balance would be better), batteries now seeming in the last year or so to
discharge themselves over a few days period of non-use, I did a little
investigating. I found that there is a (roughly) 2.5 ampere leak going on with
everything turned off. I didn't reallyneed to buy that second battery after
all--it was the car, not the battery!
In any case, I would greatly appreciate
any bright thoughts as to how I go forward now to find whatever is causing the
drain.
