Hi! If you get the LS-P4 you also have the advantage of using a Bluetooth Speaker or headset if you'd prefer. Bluetooth speakers come in all shapes and sizes these days so I'm betting it wouldn't cost too much to find something that would sound reasonable and fit in your pocket. I'd rather these recorders didn't have speakers at all though having said that the speaker of the Olympus LS-P4 has to be one of the better sounding speakers I've heard in recent times in fact I'd go so far to say that - for the amount of money - the Olympus LS-P4 is one of the better recorders around.

The speaker is quite tiny with very little volume. I personally find this very annoying but if you are going to use headphones it won't be a problem. This is my one major beef with Olympus recorders when used for mostly note taking. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Don Breda Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2018 11:56 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [all-audio] Olympus recorders with accessible clocks a question: Great! if anyone has a dm720 they want to part with please let me know off list.
