Android is quite a common operating system for portable Android Media players given the customisations that can be performed on Android, the Sony players run Android. Whether you can get them talking is the big 40 million dollar question and then - supposing you do - how accessible is the Interface? At that point you might install other Apps such as Music Player Apps but by this time? Well you probably would have been far better to get an Android phone and use that for your media playing. There’s no guarantee that the Android that a portable media player runs will be the latest, I read somewhere that the Sony players run Android 3.x. While this isn’t really here nor there for the sighted user it can have a great affect on how things do and don’t work for the user without sight.
