No doubt about the sound, the XY microphone capsule is absolutely superb. I've done a little recording from my Casio Piano using tracks 3 and 4, nothing to complain about there. I also used the input on the X/Y microphone capsule to record from a line out source and I can say that this recorder has one of the best sounding line-in inputs I've heard on a Zoom recorder, utterly superb. You know of course that you can use rechargeable batteries in the recorder? You set the battery type in the menu system but use is the ultimate word here, you can use but you can't charge but still this is handy as rechargeable batteries - given their voltage difference compared to alkaline batteries - don't suit all recorders. Anyway keep having fun.

I love it. Love how even though I used it battery powered it still saw it as 2 seperate mikes and stuff. Man sure this thing doesn't talk the folders maybe a nightmare to get in and out of and stuff like that.
