The 100 I do believe can mix down tracks as you all seem to be
discussing here. How ever Dain, like you said it's not usable without
sight. Thus why Neal didn't touch this in the podcast.

I’ve just looked at the 2 Olympus recorders I have - the LS-p4 and the LS-100
and both lack a combine function it seems which is rather odd as I’m sure I
remember seeing such a function somewhere though I’ve never used it as I’m
willing to bet that the function probably wouldn’t be too useable without sight
thus I’ve used a computer to do that sort of thing.
The Zoom H6 does this sort of stuff of course but $600 plus is a lot of money
to pay when you already have the tools at your disposal - I.e. a computer.

I’ve had a brief look at the manual as I don’t own one of these machines any
longer as I never liked the one I had and was quite happy to throw it in the
bin.
Regardless of that it seems that the DM720 doesn’t have a combine track
function as I was going to suggest that another recording be made and you
combine the last recording with the previous thus appending a recording to the
first.
Only other way you could tackle this is to copy all files to your computer and
use an audio editor to join the files together thus you then have the first
file with the second file appended.
