Hm, that should be allright, I'm not sure if that's the newest version or if 
it's 5.93, but I think you got the right one.
It shouldn't run in compatibility mode and I don't know why you're getting 
these sorts of issues after a complete uninstall and reinstall. Did you doa 
full uninstall before reinstalling, or did you just run the installer over the 
vsion you already have?
I'm using it on my brand new machine running Windows 11 25h2 and haven't had 
any issues at all. Just that now that I'm using nVDA only I kind of miss those 
JAWS scripts and the programme isn't really as efficient as it once was, but 
that's not Winamp's fault or even Windows's....so yeah, everything should run 
pretty smoothly.
