@cmc: The problem is that adding a new attribute would make the crash report
incompatible to the existing backend. 
Currently the backend is designed to process crash report where it can access
all sources of the build. Therefor crash reporting is only enabled for builds
made by SUN (the official OOo builds).

The patch may be usefull (but requires changes to the backend too) if there are
some OOo distributions that use the official OOo build an do a "prelink" after
or during deployment. Otherwise - and that's the current status - the patch
would be useless.
