mbayer->millerp: Tools > AutoCorrect > Options > [X] Replace dashes. This option
is activated by default (which means you must have deactivated it).
mbayer->alex_ks: Please note we have 2 different substitution rules: in
"word -- word" (spaces) the dashes are replaced by an endash, in "word--word"
(no spaces) the dashes are replaced by an emdash. In "word-- word" (one space)
nothing will be replaced, whereas in "word --word" the dashes are replaced by an
endash.
What I can reproduce with OOo2.2.1 B 9161 Linux i86 RPM de_DE:
Insert formula, than " -- word": dashes won't be replaced.
Insert formula, than " --word": dashes won't be replaced.
Insert formula, than "--word": dashes won't be replaced.
Confirming, even if I'm not sure whether this is a Defect or a RfE.
