In between I downloaded PDFCreator 0.9.5 from
<http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/> and did my test with
"How_to_use_basic_macros.sxw" again. File size app 1MB, so now I can confirm
that the file.pdf created with that tool is smaller than the one created with
OOo. That must not mean anything, PDFCreator us a GS PS printer solution, what
might cut away many deatails (hyperlinks ...) of the original document.
I will do some further tests to examine why OOo result is bigger than with
PDFCreator.
