2008 -------
1) Open the attached file "footnotes"
2) Locate the line "INSERT CHARACTER HERE (POINT1):"
3) Insert a character after the colon
4) The entire part of the page after the newly inserted character is shifted to 
the next page so that suddenly almost all of the page is blank now although the 
page was filled before.
5) At this point somebody may perhaps say: So what. Continue your text here. 
But the absolutely not acceptable problem is that the same occurs in the 
line "OR INSERT A CHARACTER HERE (POINT2):"
6) Insert a character after the colon (after deleting the first character)
7) Again the entire part of the page after the newly inserted character is 
shifted to the next page. Of course I can still continue my text here but what 
if I don't want to change the text before the inserted character? I have to 
accept a nearly blank page now. This is not acceptable.
