------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jun 16 11:22:01 +0000 2008 ------- The crash typically occurs when I scroll in any file open dialog, e.g. when I try to open an existing document or to insert a picture "from file", often in that moment when I have scrolled to the last subdirectories and the first real files appear. A few times it happened when I did not scroll but tried to open a file visible without scrolling. The type of crash differs: Sometimes the open dialog remains opened while the main OOo window disappears and the OOo crash manager appears; in other cases all OOo windows disappear. Sometimes OOo restarts automatically; sometimes the KDE crash manager starts. Sometimes there is just a console message "KCrash: Application 'soffice.bin' crashing... KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launching directly. X IO Error". All this happens with OOo 2.4.1 (de), with 3.0 Beta (de) and with DEV300m19 (en-US), while OOo 2.4.0 and older version are not affected. I do not know whether the installed openoffice.org-suse-menus-2.4-9268.noarch.rpm from OOo 2.4.0 affects the other versions. System: SuSE 10.1, KDE 3.5, for x86_64 (while none of my OOo version is a special x86_64 version). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
