Hello,
It seems that I didn't explain myself very well as this isn't exactly
what I mean.
What I need is the option to turn off this encoding when I do not need it.
Let me explain what we are doing...my company is creating documentation in
OpenOffice so that we can easily exchange information in not only the OO
format, but also export it to PDF and to HTML. This seemed the best choice in
order to use open formats as well as to be able to use the data both internally
and with clients.
However, the HTML we are generating is for use in templates that will have other
information automatically filled in by other software our website uses. In
order for this to work, we need to have the '{' and '}' characters in some of
our URL's so that the templating software can use those characters. This had
been working just fine. Then, at some stage and seemingly without reason, OO
replaced the special characters in the URL's with %ASCII. It is still not clear
what triggered this because we had been exporting HTML pages without this
happening before.
So, in sum, having a checkbox which allows the user to turn off this
formating would be great. As it is now, we are fighting OO to put in the URL's
we want and hoping it doesn't change them at its leisure, and changing them back
when it does. As you can imagine, this is very frustrating.
