I do not see such a spacing problem (OOo2.4.1 and OOo3 betam3 on WinXP). Please
attach a screenshot which shows the problem.
The document uses the font "Times New Roman". Do you have installed that font?
Which version? I've got file TIMES.TTF, version 3, date 2002-10-18.
