Still cannot reproduce it.
Test as following:
- new text document
- copy/paste a sentence in Cyrillic from browser
- pasted into OOo
- Save - Type: Text Encoded
- I chose encoding: UTF-8
- delete all
- copy/paste another sentence in Cyrillic from browser
- Save as
- 1 folder up
- created a new folder
- go into this folder
- save
(it comes a warning about "are you sure you want to save in this format")
-> both first and second file are correctly saved as UTF-8
Please try with a newer version.
