------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Feb 6 10:04:36 +0000 2009 ------- Well, there are several ways to do that. In all applications something like this should work: - Select all (CTRL_A) then open ther 'Format/Character' dialog and in the font tab page you can then set the language for the text. - Open 'Tools/Options - Language Settings - Languages' select the language(s) you like AND don't forget to check the box 'for the current document only' In the Writer application there are other options as well. Depending if and how you are using styles or hard-coded attributes you can do the following: - You can change the language of the styles that you are using. Often enough just changing the language of the default paragraph style will do. - You can use 'Tools/Language/For all text' And since it seems you are not familiar with OOo at all: why not first asking your question (or stating your problem) in one of the user mailing-lists? Usually you will get an answer or good hint very soon! It is just by chance that I stumbled over this issue and currently have the time to answer. Issues are poor means of communications or for asking questions... If your problem is solved by the above answers please close this issue.
