I do not get that results. The result of converting depends on the language. So
please tell
What are your settings in Tools>Options>Language Settings>Language?
What is the language in the font tab of the style 'default'?
What is the language in the number tab of the style 'default'?
What is the language in the font attribute of the cell?
What is the language in the number attribute of the cell?
BTW: Why do you want to exchange , with .? If you have got a German number via
copy and paste and want an English view of that number, you have to change the
language in the number attribute of the cell to English.
