------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue May 12 11:58:36 +0000 2009 ------- I have a simple document with the following two first level headings: 1. Original-1 2. Original-2 When I load this document and add a new heading 1 chapter between these two, I get the following: 1. Original-1 1. New-1 2. Original-2 And adding a second one gives this: 1. Original-1 1. New-1 2. Original-2 2. New-2 What I should get is of course this: 1. Original-1 2. New-1 3. Original-2 4. New-2 But for some reason when I add a new heading it completely ignores the old ones and creates a new heading counter. The only way to get around this is to apply "text body" style to all headings and then apply "heading 1" to them. But when I close OOo, open it again and add a new heading 1 element, it gets the number 1, so I have to reformat every heading again. This is extremely frustrating. This happens also with OOo 3.1 on OS X. I use odt files, so this is not caused by file format conversions. I will attach two files. The first is a odt file demonstrating the problem and the second one is a PDF export of said file to show the brokenness in case it works on your platform. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
