------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sun Oct 11 15:59:50 +0000 2009 ------- I'm currently using latest-released OO 3.1.1 (Build:9420, on winXPpro SP3 patched up-to-date) to do math homework for an instructor who insists on using Greek letters (e.g. %chi) to indicate the realization of a random variable (e.g. x). One is then forced to do integration with regard to a Greek-letter variable, which results in expressions ending with, e.g. 'd%chi' or 'dχ'. The problem (as discussed in the forum @ http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=90020 and presumably shown in the to-be-attached document and PDF) is that - 'd%chi' renders all on the baseline (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseline_%28typography%29) but with a (horizontal) space between the 'd' and the '%chi' - 'dχ' renders with the 'd' on the baseline but the '%chi' descending (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descender) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
