------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sun Oct 25 15:31:47 +0000 2009 ------- The bug report is based on Mandriva's BR indicated in URL. Short description: OOo's special character dialog doesn't display all possible characters, e.g. comparing to KCharselect. For example, Canadian syllabics (U+1400–167F according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Aboriginal_syllabics ) are not found in any font but at the same time KCharselect displays them correctly in all fonts that include that range. There seems to be some more characters or character sets OOo doesn't just display and KCharselect does. The problem seems not to be related to fonts itself (as indicated in closed BR http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=87787 ) because I checked it with many fonts. Most complete from my fonts was Arial Unicode MS but even that doesn't include mentioned Canadian syllabics in OOo. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
