I cannot confirm it for OOo3.2.0Beta. I have downloaded and installed the font
"Aboriginal Serif" from
http://www.languagegeek.com/font/fontdownload.html#Full_Unicode and can insert
characters without problems. The 'sub range' list has got the item 'Canadian
Aboriginal Syllables', the character table shows them and there are inserted in
the document.
Are you sure you have installed a suitable font and are you sure it is installed
correctly?
