For my version, yes. That's what I already have with the hardcoded removal. I
don't want to maintain that diff until indefinitely

Then that specification is complete crap and must be fixed when it doesn't work
with standard mozilla plugin configuration (and that includes symlinks in let's
say /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins).

Think of sysadmins who want to give all users the plugin. How should distro
packages work? Just install the stuff in user dirs? Just create the symlinks
for already existing users?

Of course I want to do a patch which works for all cases and can be upstreamed.
