According to Rene the plugin tab page should be hidden if the nsplugin lib is located in the mozilla/firefox/whatever folder. Does the patch contain code that is able to detect that on all relevant platforms? If we have that detection code, I don't see a problem to switch the tab page on or off based on this code. If we don't have it, Mikhail's suggestion to upstream Rene's patch, but make its usage depend on a build time switch, sounds reasonable to me. BTW: Rene, please calm down and mind your tone.
