------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Jul 28 05:17:25 +0000 2010 ------- I've seen this pattern in several corrupted documents submitted to the Community forum. The file contains partial data from a document archive, mixed in with data from a completely different file not related to the document, or even OOo. In this case, the other data seems to be part of a mozilla application, firefox perhaps, as it is similar to the firefox "compreg.dat" file on my system. I can't imagine what sort of bug in an application could result in mixing data from different files like this, but perhaps it is possible with Windows. Just as a guess, since using a USB drive seems to be a common element with corrupted files, if OOo could somehow trigger filesystem/driver problems leading to mixed files? I'm attaching the zip data extracted from the corrupted file; unfortunately, it does not include any document content. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
