However, I do appreciate that Mesa is even willing to ship abroad, many U.S. growers will not, or have high minimum orders to make all that paperwork worthwhile. So, obviously, I can provide the alternative warm and cold without even leaving this chair. But even putting pediocactus seed outside, then taking it indoors, then putting it out again, should work. P. knowltonii is the easiest. If you're just trying P. simpsonii, Mesa Garden sells plants for quite low prices. If I figure my time is worth, say, $1 US a month, it still works out to my advantage to buy plants.
