It seems that every year about now I am re-infected with the gardening bug.
It usually begins by wandering around the yard to see what might be coming
up(after thousands of of seeds have been sown in various areas. In a fit of
uncharacteristic organization I set to the task of sorting through all my
plant photos with the intent to at last label some and perhaps sort them to
genus level. I am sure the passion for this task will subside well before I
am done. I did come across a picture last night that I took last spring that
somehow had me yearning more than ever for spring to break. Thought I would
post it up since it does not fit neatly into the genus file:

For now spring is a ways off it would seem, not even the Primulas have
ventured above ground yet.
