Wow...now that's what I call wildlife....I understand the re-infection stage...I am going to start cutting evergreen boughs to bring in for Ikebana...do more work in the greenhouse...start lettuce seed...and enjoy the fact that the several Alpines I kept here in the basement window sill in part shade are all starting to show signs of growth...the Heuchera pulchella is growing great guns and the Lewisias have started putting out new foliage...I grew four of these in an old McCoy planter...first time in 5-10 years I've kept Lewisias alive over winter.....Sedums look great but the saxifragas may have gone a wee bit too dry to suit them....average temp in basement office is 43-54*F with a few hours of evening temps of 60* when a fire is placed in the woodstove...yeah I know talk about screwing up a plant...cold when the sun is out...hot when the sun is down......
