I disagree. My feeling was that the majority of people were behind LAAGA/JACK. I have worked with (earlier versions) of the code, and written a dummy client. It is very simple to use. I think Paul sometimes comes over a bit too vitriolic in his arguments, but I do think he is correct that synchronous, callback based sync is the best way to go.
