one thing we desperately need for the inclusion in the kernel is a
working and complete mailing list archive.
i expect many new people taking a peek at alsa development now, if
only grumpy kernel hackers seeking reasons why oss is better :)

the geocrawler archive can only be described as an excuse the
language fucking mess, and this is a very valid point against alsa,
unfortunately.

we might submit the list to marc.theaimsgroup.com, or better yet,
set up an archive at alsa-project.org.
of course, we would need to include as many old messages as
possible.
