Wait, wait..  ALSA cs46xx driver still does _NOT_ support digital i/o!
And it seems difficult to support it in near future, too, since Cirrus
Logic doesn't want to release their DSP info.

AFAIK, TOSLINK output should work on the following drivers:

- RME9652
- RME96
- ICE1712 (Envy24)
- Emu10k1 (SB Live!)
- Trident 4D DX/NX
- YMFPCI
- FM801
- CM8738

The lower is often cheaper.

And if you want digial input, please check the card carefully.
Some cards have only internal connectors although digital input is
stated on the product box..
