Hello, I have a sblive value and I've been trying to use the sequencer. I've tried the latest relases and in all of them i've found the following problems:
-Noise in the synth: With many soundfont patches, using the synth, the card starts doing an horrible cracking noise when many notes are played simultaneously, i tried changing mixing volumes without success. -Chorus/Reverb: Is it yet possible to map dsp code to a controller? Also, is reverb implemented? if not.. is it possible to use the reverb code that comes with the windows sblive software CD? -Unstability: It crashes randomly, and the sound starts popping when very small fragment sizes are used, I'd like to say that this is a problem of my computer, but it doesnt happen when using an ensoniq 1371 card with the same configuration. I know this was probably addressed somewhere in the mailing list, but geograwler doesnt seem to have a "search button". Also a sblive on alsa FAQ (or at least, a bit more updated faqs) would be highly appreciated! Thanks a lot!
