Well, the old problem I reported to the list (Mr. Takashi Iwai maybe can 
remember) about really bad MIDI playing experience with the emu10k1 
internal synth, despite what software I use to play and preemptible or 
not preemptible kernel I'm using (actually 2.4.16) and ALSA 0.9.10, with 
the synthetizer eating notes at random, is still an issue.


I know we're getting there, and I thank you all programmers for your 
effort and time spent to help the rest of us. Thank you very much.
