and can't get further the step "modprobe". Debian returns that it can't find any of the modules. Same error, either for Alsa-driver-0.5.12 and Alsa-driver-0.9rc .
What is the output of:
ll /lib/modules/2.*/kernel/sound/ snd-fm801.o (if the module is called that :-)) should be under there somewhere. ----------------------------------------
