That looks good to me. Doing some quick tests with xine surround40 seems to work
Benny, is any reason why 'surround40' device doesn't work with the CS46xx driver? The configuration is in alsa-lib/src/conf/CS46xx.conf .
just fine.
Johan: sure that you are using the newest and greatest alsa-lib, course the alsa-lib/src/conf/CS46xx.conf is quite new (added just 5 weeks ago), so I guess it's not in rc6 release.
