It seems to me that the Multiface is more extensible than the Delta 1010. And of course it has more ways to connect to other devices. But then it's a lot more expensive ($920 vs. $600). If i were to think only at what i need _right_now_, i don't have any doubts i'd buy the M-Audio Delta 1010 (and yes, i would pay the full price of a true 1010 rather than only half of that for the 1010LT, just to get a sturdy solid box instead of a flimsy bush'o'cables). But then i think of the RME Multiface and go like "well, if i'll have to do that other thing as well in a few months or a year..." > Some > people can't live without the HDSP's matrix mixer (it is cool) What are the differences between that and the maudio envy24control? What can the matrix do which envy24control can't? (damn, i wish i could play a bit with each other before commiting my finances; this way i wouldn't pester you guys) -- Florin Andrei http://florin.myip.org/ ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
