Hello, I use kernel 2.6.3 with the shipped alsa-drivers and tried also the newest alsa drivers 1.0.2c on the Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D 8830 Laptop. It has a Pentium 4 with the Intel i845 chipset. I have always the same error (here alsa 1.0.2c):
