Hi, I just bought myself subj. I have it working with normal analog out, but can't seem to get it to output over digital/optical out.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] drzero $ cat /proc/asound/version Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.2c. Compiled on Feb 28 2004 for kernel 2.6.3-gentoo-r2. Everything has been compiled directly into the kernel, nothing is loaded as modules. I can't seem to change anything with amixer, but alsamixer works. Except of course that I can't get it to output anything on the optical out. I have tried quite a number of different setups but I can't seem to figure out what to set to get it to work. I can't turn up IEC958 Output which I can understand as it is my surround reciever that actually creates the sound when the signal is optical. I have made sure that IEC958 Output is not muted. Also I have checked the cable - when plugged into my cd-player it works nicely.
