Thanks for a fantastic write-up of the issue -- very illuminating.  The
54mm airframe you refer to sounds like my Little Dog.  As you mentioned,
twisting and lengthening the leads definitely helped the issue on the
bench, so I applied the same techniques on my L3 bay.  Even with the
adjustments, the Little Dog saw a drogue-only recovery over the summer (no
harm done).  I had attributed it to a bad power switch, but now I'm
wondering if it was just the LDO reset.  Regardless, I'm really, really
happy to see the issue nailed down.

Yeah, I don't have gear for surface mount work, and I'm not flying until at
least January, so I'll send both boards to the address listed on gag.com.
