[altusmetrum] AltosDroid

Would it be possible to change the way distance is reported in 
AltosDroid?   Currently it reports in Meters for the Metric system and 
Miles in Imperial units.    Tenths of a mile is a fairly large unit so 
there is quite a bit of ambiguity as to how far it is to the rocket when 
recovering it.   Would it be possible to have the units automatically 
switch from Miles/Meters when the distance to the rocket is less than 
half a mile or 1 km?
