Bearing, distance, altitude is the only mantra I want to hear with the proviso
I know beforehand whether it's MSL or AGL altitude. I won't quibble about that.
For stock APRS stuff, Xastir with the Festival voice server will do distance
and bearing only but the altitude and horizontalspeed is displayed with the
other particulars next to the rocket icon (I chose). Kurt

Yup. When the rocket is in the air my only two concerns are how far
I'm going to be walking and trying to spot it in the air. That's why I
was surprised last weekend when I only got the bearing but not the
elevation angle in the announcements.

PS The rocket is named NoSeeUm for good reason. I didn't actually
spot it until after the main chute opened at 1,000 feet.
