By "it" you mean Samba, right? Because it's clearing giving Amanda
garbage and so isn't Amanda's fault.
Have you applied the patches on the Amanda web page (www.amanda.org)?
If that doesn't help, it looks to me like you need to ask the Samba
folks for help.
