chg-scsi and sgen in Solaris 8

I notice there has been some discussion about chg-scsi in the last month,
has anyone got chg-scsi to work with the sgen driver in Solaris 8?
I keep getting a "DeviceCapablitiesPage==NULL" when I run chg-scsi.
I running Solaris 8 on a Enterprise 250 with a SUN StorEdge L280.
